BIO

Brandon Price, a native of Asheboro, North Carolina, has spent most of his career being a community servant. Price attended Fayetteville State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2005. Price spent the next eight years working for Fayetteville Urban Ministry's Find-A-Friend program. Find-A-Friend was a youth program, focusing on the "at-risk/high-risk" population. 100% of the youth were diagnosed with a myriad of disabilities including: ADD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, PTSD. These youth were at risk for being in the court system, already in the court system, or had parents in the court system. Price recruited, trained and screened adult volunteers to mentor youth, as well as facilitated group workshops using evidence-based curriculum focusing on character building and teaching life skills.

In 2013, Price was recognized as one of the Fayetteville’s 40 under 40 recipients; an honor awarded to the top 40 community leaders under 40 years of age who are rising leaders in ten counties, in their area of business and philanthropic success. Throughout his career at FUM, Price wrote the “Dad Sense” column for City View Family Magazine, a local lifestyle magazine, which was a look into parenthood from the father’s perspective. Since 2013, Price, along with two other men, hosted a radio show on WIDU Radio, “The Crossover.” With a break from the show during the law school years, The Crossover continues today. Price also served as a Chamber Ambassador for the Fayetteville Regional Chamber of Commerce, and a campaign speaker for the United Way of Cumberland County for eight years.
